The ZETA DIVISION’s GC squad went through a bit of a shake-up recently. After the last season, they found themselves with only three players, and it was clear they needed some fresh blood to complete their dream team. In February, Airi “romia” Sugiyama bid farewell to join FENNEL Hotelava, and Seina “KOHAL” Migita took on a new role as a streamer.

Enter UR and SereNa, the dynamic duo who previously rocked the 2023 VCT Game Changers Japan season with Crest Gaming Stellar. While their old team narrowly missed out on the East Asia stage, these players showcased their skills, maintaining an impressive average VLR rating of 1.17 across 235 rounds against tough opponents like DRX Changers and IGZIST Female.
Dreams Do Come True
SereNa, the first Korean player to hop on the ZETA VALORANT train, shared her journey in an announcement video. “I started VALORANT in September, 2 years ago. I watched a Game Changers tournament on October 12th [VCT Game Changers East Asia 2022] by chance and thought, ‘I want to win the GC tournament too.’ That’s why I became a pro.”

Now, with UR and SereNa on board, ZETA DIVISION GC is gearing up to dominate Japan’s Game Changers scene and prove they’ve got what it takes in East Asia. After slipping a bit in last year’s Championship qualification, they’re on a mission to climb back to the top and make their mark.
