National Forest Management Planning
Advocating for Sustainable Recreation and Balanced Management for the Backcountry
Many National Forests across the country are currently undertaking forest plan revisions. Forest plans are guiding documents that set general management direction for a national forest for 15-30 years. Participating in forest plan revision is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the long-term future of national forests.
Want to learn more about getting involved in forest planning so you can shape the future of your national forests? The Outdoor Alliance Citizens’ Guide to Forest Planning gives you the tools you need to navigate forest planning on your favorite forests.
